3 shocking things you probably didn’t know about smartphones
So friend, without wasting any further time, let’s get started with the 3 shocking things you probably didn’t know about smartphones.
1.Automatic Photos Backup
We capture and save photos to keep us remind our best moments. Photos not only captures the still shot, but they are capable to recreate a sweet moment, and we don’t want to lose them.
In this case, you try to save those photos in any different storage like a memory card or pen drive, but it’s not 100% sure that your photos will be saved forever. So, you have to take a complete backup of those photos and save them online. But do you know that if you are an Android user, then your all photos will be automatically saved in Google photos? Yes, it’s true. You just have to toggle up the button of backup photos on Google photos and Google will save all your photos on their network and you will be able to browse them anytime, anywhere.
Same is the case with ios and Microsoft Windows phone. For iOS users, their photos will be backed up on iCloud and for windows phone users, their phone will be saved on one drive.
2. Apps and files backup
If you are a smartphone user, especially an Android Smartphone user, then I know that daily you use lots of applications on your device. At least you use WhatsApp or Facebook on your Android device.
But suppose if you are normally using your smartphone and suddenly your smartphone stopped working, then you boot your smartphone in recovery mode and hard reset your smartphone which makes your smartphone’s software completely new and untouched and remove all third-party apps and all data saved on them. So in this case, either you have to compromise with all the saved data and cache or you can just take a daily or weekly backup and restore your backup after booting up your smartphone after a hard reset. So, which one will you choose among both of them?
I know that you will choose the second option quoting “backup and restore”. That’s why you have to make a complete backup of your smartphone on a weekly basis. Basically, in Android, there is an option of backup and restore which is available in settings, but I will recommend you to use a third-party app named “titanium backup”. This is the best backup software available as of now on play store.
How to use titanium backup app?
Just install, create a Complete backup, do your work (hard reset in above example), open your device, reinstall titanium backup application and restore that created backup. Easy and best!
3.Clean and simple home screen
Home screen defines your smartphone. When you unlock your smartphone, the first thing you can see on your smartphone is “home screen”. That’s why, on the home screen, you can create and all widgets, add a shortcut of any application so that you can get to that application in less time, create a note on it as a reminder, etc.

So, it’s our responsibility to keep our home screen clean and simple. We don’t want that our home screen will be full of applications and make our smartphone looks ugly and complicated. So, what should we do so that we can browse all apps faster through homescreen and our homescreen looks simple and clean?
Well, here’s a solution. You can take a help of folders. How?
Suppose you have some apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat. One thing which is 100% sure is that all are social networking apps. So, on homescreen, just add the shortcuts of all the apps, after that you have to drag and drop all app shortcuts to any one app, like:- draft and drop a Facebook shortcut on WhatsApp, then same with Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat. In this way, all shortcuts are compiled in a folder. After then, name that folder as “social”. Done :). Now you can easily browse those apps by unlocking the smartphone, tap on that folder and then tap on the app you want to use. Repeat the same process with games, utility, music, and entertainment.
It is all simple as possible. You home screen shows fewer shortcuts, bit when you tap on those shortcuts, you will find all apps because those shortcuts you have seen on home screen are actually a folder in which all apps are hidden. Hope you like this feature.
